1. I am not receiving the FRSC activation email in my spam folder and inbox:
Applicants are advised to use Phoenix or Opera Browser when filling their applications. Click the resend activation email button many times, by doing so you will receive the mail in your Spam folder.
2. I received the activation email in my Spam folder, but I can’t see the activation link:
Sometimes the email comes without the link visibly showing, when you found yourself in this situation, Tap “Looks safe” on the notification and go back to your email Primary/Inbox you will see the link. Click it and set your password to continue with your application.
3. My dashboard is not showing the complete ‘Resume or Continue” button after creating my password to continue my application:
If you are using phone to register, rotate the screen orientation or your phone or switch the browser to desktop view through the settings.
4. I see a field for a driver’s licence Identification number, but I don’t have one:
Driver’s license is optional for candidates especially those that are not applying for Drivers and Riders category. So you can leave it blank. And for those that have it they can use it.
5. Is it Mandatory to fill in the work experience section even if I don’t have any?
No, you can skip it. but for those that have the working experience, do well to fill it.
6. How many documents do we need to upload?
Currently there is only one document for upload which is your passport photograph.
7. How many referees are required?
The number of referees needed must be at least two (2) for you to continue to next next step when filling the recruitment form.
8. My application slip is not showing my picture after submission:
Sometimes the portal is not showing applicant’s passport when trying to print/download the application slip. This is due to technical issues from them portal. When you encountered such error, refresh your browser or log out and login again. The photo is going to appear.
9. What is the age requirements for the 2026 FRSC Recruitment?
For Officer Cadre, the age requirements is between 18-35 years, Marshal Inspectorate Cadre candidates age is 18-30 and Road Marshal Assistant Cadre is between 26 to 40 years
9. What is the minimum weight required?
There is no minimum weight requirement. However, an average weight of 50 to 75kg is generally acceptable.
10. My passport photograph is not uploading:
This happend when your passport photograph is above 1MB requirement, try and reduce by using photo compressor application to at least below 1 MB.
11. What should I do after submitting my application?
Calm down and wait for further directive from the FRSC Recruitment team. Visit the recruitment portal time to time for update and also follow the official social media handle of the Federal Road Safety Commission.
12. Can I edit my application after submitting it?
No. Once your application has been submitted, you can’t edit any data/information again. So try and cross-check your details before final submission.
13. Can I use a phone to apply?
Yes. However, But if you encounter any issues, switch your browser to Desktop mode for better resolution and interface.
14. What image format to use for passport photograph upload?
Use a clear passport photograph in JPG/JPEG format.
15. Can I apply more than once?
No. Submitting multiple applications will lead to automatic disqualification.
16. I entered the wrong information. What should I do?
If your application has not been submitted, correct it before submitting. If it has already been submitted, you may not be able to make changes.
17. I forgot my password. How can I recover/retrieve it?
Click “Forgot Password” button on the login page and follow the instructions to reset it.
