About the Pay Advisor, West Africa Role

Cadbury Nigeria Plc, a member of Mondelez International, is recruiting a Pay Advisor to support payroll operations across West Africa. The successful candidate will oversee end-to-end payroll processes, ensure compliance with statutory regulations, maintain payroll accuracy, and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver efficient payroll services.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Manage end-to-end payroll operations across West Africa.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Process statutory deductions and third-party payments.
  • Maintain payroll compliance with tax and labour regulations.
  • Validate payroll data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Strengthen internal payroll controls and compliance procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining payroll standard operating procedures.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants should possess:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Two to five years of payroll or accounting experience.
  • Experience working within a shared services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end payroll management.
  • Understanding of payroll compliance, tax regulations, and labour laws across Sub-Saharan Africa.
  • Experience managing multiple payroll entities.
  • Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Payroll management experience.
