Job Description
The successful candidate will provide technical field service support and troubleshoot complex machinery, equipment or systems. The role also involves working with customers, resolving technical problems and travelling to customer locations when required.
Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Have proven experience in field service engineering or a related technical role.
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Relevant diploma certifications may be considered in place of a degree.
- Have strong technical knowledge of complex machinery, equipment or systems.
- Be proficient in troubleshooting technical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Have a customer-focused approach and strong relationship-building skills.
- Be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Have strong organizational and task management skills.
- Be willing to travel extensively, sometimes at short notice, to customer sites.
